Amid the rapid growth of China’s forging and pressing industry, Dingxiang Chengyu Forging was founded with the original mission of “carrying forward the art of forging and producing reliable forged components,” embarking on an entrepreneurial journey in the critical field of core mechanical manufacturing parts. In its early years, the company established a solid foothold in basic forging processes, acquiring its first batch of standardized die-forging equipment and free-forging production lines. Focusing on essential markets such as general machinery and automotive components, it built a stable customer base through meticulous quality control down to the finest tolerances and a commitment to integrity and ethical business practices. During this period, the team deeply cultivated the integrated skills of manual forging and machining, nurturing an early artisanal ethos characterized by “every hammer strike delivers precision, every forging yields a masterpiece.” This laid a robust technical foundation and earned the company a strong market reputation, marking its initial transition from “hand-forge” to “mechanized, standardized production.”

2008–2017

As China’s forging and pressing industry enters a period of transformation and upgrading, the company has seized the opportunities presented by automation and intelligent technology upgrades to launch its first major technological upgrade initiative. It has successively introduced CNC forging equipment and automated loading/unloading systems, built multiple high-precision die-forging production lines, and achieved a shift from “extensive processing” to “precision manufacturing,” increasing annual production capacity by more than fivefold compared with its early stages. In terms of market expansion, the company has broken free from regional constraints, extending its reach into diverse sectors such as construction machinery and new-energy equipment, and establishing long-term supply-chain partnerships with several industry-leading enterprises. At the same time, the company has set up an R&D team focused on developing lightweight, high-strength forging processes, securing more than ten utility-model patents in total. Its core products have obtained ISO 9001 quality-system certification, enabling the company to rise to the ranks of a leading player in the regional forging industry and complete a comprehensive expansion and capability upgrade—from a “single-product” offering to a “diversified, integrated supply” model, and from a “regional brand” to a “rising star in the industry.”

2018–2022

In line with the industry’s trend toward high-quality development, the company has adopted a development strategy centered on “specialization, refinement, distinctiveness, and innovation,” and is making all-out efforts to achieve its goal of becoming a “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” enterprise. The company has invested heavily in establishing a provincial-level enterprise technology center and has collaborated with universities and research institutes to build industry–university–research cooperation platforms, tackling key technical challenges related to large, complex forgings and special-alloy forgings. Through these efforts, it has broken through numerous “bottleneck” processes, successfully developed core forgings for nuclear power and high-end equipment applications, and filled critical regional technological gaps. On the production side, the company has comprehensively upgraded its smart manufacturing lines by introducing robotic forging systems and digital twin management platforms, achieving remarkable results: a 10% reduction in raw-material waste and a 30% increase in production efficiency. On the market front, the company has earned national recognition as a “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” small and medium-sized enterprise, with its core products now integrated into domestic and international high-end equipment supply chains. Since 2023

As a champion of high-quality industry development, the company upholds the vision of “Building a Century-Old Chengyu and Setting the Benchmark in Forging,” while continuously deepening its innovation-driven strategy. On the technological front, the company focuses on cultivating new productive forces by investing in R&D of forgings for cutting-edge fields such as new energy and aerospace, with several technologies reaching internationally advanced levels. At the industrial-chain level, it has taken the lead in establishing the Forging Industry Collaborative Innovation Alliance, fostering joint improvements across the upstream and downstream sectors and driving high-quality cluster development.
